In both the journalism and design world, I am a teller of stories. I use print, broadcast, and online mediums to detail the lives of marginalized communities. As a self-proclaimed data queen, I believe in the power of numbers in my stories. My interviewing experience captures everyone from top state officials to up-and-coming local artists. As a print layout designer, the tales of the words are in the presentation. I am always looking to turn text into visible art. Like with my life, I keep my designs bold, but minimalistic.
